Savannah Transit Authority
Savannah is a city of diverse neighborhoods, it is not easy to commute and there is no quick access to different parts of the city unless you have a car or if you are willing to pay for an expensive cab. Having experienced that as an international student at Savannah College of Art and Design, inspired me to design this project. It was an interesting challenge to design and conceptualize this as this city currently does not have a subway transportation system. The design process began with research of the city’s history, personality, culture, hot spots, and suburbs around the downtown. I feel this subway system would modernize the commuter experience, yet maintain the historical significance of the city.

APP FOR USER EXPERIENCE AND USABILITY
Based on the design of the printed map led me to design an application that allows the user to easily find the same top attractions, their current location, and general directions on all lines of the metro system. The process began by testing and researching various way-finding apps for public transportation and noted what was helpful and what could be improved and adapted based on ease of use and functionality.
